Below are the terms and conditions you accept when making a booking with The Walled Garden Camping

At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over. Admission will be refused if booking details do not match visitors and vehicle registration

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the campsite as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your pitch.

No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Pitches will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 2 days of arrival. Refunds will not be given for any cancellations, late arrivals or early departures


There are no bins on-site, so all rubbish will need to be taken home with you. Hand sanitisers are placed around the toilet and shower blocks – please use these accordingly.


Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times. Please ensure that dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after them. Under no circumstances are dogs allowed within the play area of the camping field.

Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.


Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.

Bookings must not be for more than 14consecutive nights.

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. If there is no one at reception, please call the contact number given in your welcome pack. Complaints that are not brought to the management’s attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Quiet hours must be respected between 10:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.

Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume and please close car doors and boots quietly.

Refunds within the indicated cancellation period are only possible if the site is able to relet your pitch.

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. In this instance, a refund will not be offered.

The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.


No hen/stag parties permitted.

The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only – bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted unless given permission from the management prior to arrival.


Barbecues and fire pits are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended to by an adult at all times.

Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.

If making a fire, the fuel, logs and coal have to be purchased on site. These can be purchased on site and on a first come – first served basis (we recommend pre booking fire pit hire/logs in advance)

Open fires are prohibited.

Please do not touch or feed the animals or the horses in the equestrian centre next to the site.


Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site without prior permission from the management.

No vehicle movement between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.


Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee if payment has not already been made online. If campers arrange for a visitor to come to the site, the management requires notice in advance. Visitors who stay with booked campers will be charged accordingly.
